To determine the socioeconomic effects of climate change risks, a sequential hierarchy method was used. . However, in light of the increasing negative effects of climate change, it is necessary to improve our adaptability by increasing our resilience and adaptability to these global challenges. The interaction of natural and man-made factors, which is universally referred to as global warming, is the primary factor in the expansion of the negative effects of climate change.
Natural resources are primarily impacted by climate change, particularly in dry subhumid and semi-arid regions.
A comprehensive ongoing monitoring program utilizing the necessary environmental data and information to continuously monitor climate change and evaluate its impact on Kuwait, in collaboration with all stakeholders in the areas of adaptation to climate change, including academia, the private sector, and nongovernmental organizations, is one of the anticipated outcomes. These effects include heatwaves, rainstorms, and other rapid floods, as well as an increase in the number and intensity of dust storms and the rise in sea level, which has an effect on infrastructure projects and long-term investments in the future. The management practices, functional practices, technical practices, land use planning, water management, protection of human health, and identification of short-, medium-, and long-term climate change adaptation initiatives are the four vital sectors that are the focus of the proposed programs. A sustainable program has been proposed to increase resilience and build national capacities to address the risks and negative impacts of climate change, despite the difficulty of dealing with its complexity and impacts on multiple sectors. Additionally, the key sectors' primary material risks were identified.
