The interaction of natural and man-made factors, which is universally referred to as global warming, is the primary factor in the expansion of the negative effects of climate change. Due to the fact that climate change is a global phenomenon, the risk of climate change is not restricted to a single location or individual who emits greenhouse gases; rather, the risk extends beyond that location and will affect all humans. Additionally, the key sectors' primary material risks were identified. The Government of Kuwait, represented by the Environment Public Authority (EPA), has pledged to ensure the implementation of its National Adaptation Plan (NAP) in partnership with other governmental and non-governmental institutions. This highlights the significance of international commitment to the fight against climate change and the development of national capacities for climate adaptation. As a result, stakeholders were identified in accordance with each sector's risks. Where adaptation to climate change necessitates the involvement of all stakeholders in the planning and execution of numerous initiatives, including those related to water, coastal areas, the marine environment, human health, and others
As a result, in order to put into action the programs that have been proposed to adapt to climate change and lessen the negative effects of socio-economic issues, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will seek technical assistance from international organizations, the business community, and other stakeholders. and concluded that this problem is not restricted to political boundaries; rather, it is primarily felt by countries that are the most vulnerable and are not equipped to face climate changes, even if they did not cause them. The management practices, functional practices, technical practices, land use planning, water management, protection of human health, and identification of short-, medium-, and long-term climate change adaptation initiatives are the four vital sectors that are the focus of the proposed programs.
Natural resources are primarily impacted by climate change, particularly in dry subhumid and semi-arid regions.
